Coach Roberts is passionate, warm/approachable, supportive, and successful. He was one of the main reasons that attracted our daughter to SIU. He was great with her and us as a family. He was interested in her well-being and not just her potential as an athlete. He creates a positive team culture through team building, and uses praise and positive reinforcement to get the best out of his players.

I didn’t get to work with coach Craig for much time, but the time that he was here was very beneficial. He made college soccer feel less scary coming in as a freshman and it was clear from the start that he knew a lot and was very eager to teach us his ways. He was always positive and proved that he cared about his players from the beginning. I learned a lot from coach Craig in a very short amount of time, so I would strongly recommend coach Craig.

Coach Robert’s is one of the smartest coaches I’ve ever had, even though I had him for a short period I still learned a lot from him.

Overall a great coach and a human being, he cares for the players and knows a lot about the game. He wants to win all the time so he likes intensity. Amazing coach!

Craig is and has always been a class A 1 coach He know soccer inside and out and i have personaly seen him take a college team from nothing and end up playing in the finals more than once.he is dedicated and knowledgable far beyond anyone else i know. If i had a team this is the man i would want to be coach

I have watched Coach Roberts excel year after year after year. His players just love him. He has taught them skills and knowledge about soccer and they in turn, never thought in their lives they would become the soccer stars they are today all because of Coach Craig Roberts! I witnessed Craig Roberts from the beginning as the staring captain of his college soccer team! He came from England to expand his "horizons" with his soccer talent/skills and teaching abilities in the United States. He arrived confident. He excelled time after time after time. His abilities took him past high school soccer coaching soon to Division I of the NCAA. Coach Craig Roberts became highly sought after.

My personal and group experiences with coach Roberts were....that Coach Roberts was highly respected by us, and we never wanted to disappoint him. For the club and him, we wanted to go out and always give it our all. He was revered by everyone in the club because he protected us. The discipline was incredible, and it aided in upholding the standards we set for our lives. He acted as a father figure to the younger players on the team and served as a friend to the more experienced players. To be a strong leader, Coach Roberts' character traits are extremely essential. When I played for Coach Roberts, and looking back, I believe what inspired and fired me up was when he brought up our families, because there are times on the pitch when you feel like you're struggling a little bit and then you remember how hard your family worked to enable us to be where we are now. In the club, we all respect one other equally, care for one another, and ensure that we are compassionate. He was incredibly attentive and asked about everyone's families and knew their names. Things like that stick out in my recollection.
